They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I found this one of me and my mom on Kristen’s phone after she passed. While it may not be the most flattering shot of either of us, I think it says just about all there is to say about what she’s meant to me these last 35 years.Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom! Thanks for all those long nights early on when you slept standing up right outside my door because I would call every 15 seconds. Thanks for swooping back in when my world fell apart all over again four years ago. But most of all, thanks for holding me up – both figuratively and literally – when I wasn’t able to stand.
Love you, mom!
Well said. ” A Mother’s love knows no bounds.” You apparently were blessed with one of the best! 😉
Beautiful thoughts and words, Kenny. Your mom is one of the strongest women, make that, people I know! I admire her and love her. I always told our kids. ‘No one loves you like your mom!’ Nice to know you recognize it….you are blessed and so is she:)
A little late, but I hope you had a Happy Mother’s Day.
